Fear itself is not the impediment to your joyful life. But, fear is pointing at the impediment to your joyful life. And just as the feeling of fear is within you, the impediment is within you also.

Abraham Hicks

Fear is a tricky word.  It can be an impediment just as it can be a blessing.  Fear can hold you back or if you choose it can also move you forward.  What are you afraid of?

Failure?

Fear

There is no failure.  There are only lessons to learn.
Even death isn’t a failure.  Because there is no death.  There is only transition.

You leave on state, the physical and transition to the spiritual, to the ethereal.  And even that state is temporary until we become living flesh again.  The failures we THINK we’ve seen are only lessons to learn in our next incarnation.  There is no reason to fear…

….ANYTHING!

Sometimes, as the image above suggests, you have to trust but IF you stray off the “trust” path, you may be fearful at first, however you may just find a new path and discover something about yourself you didn’t know.  Fear can hold you back but it can also move you forward if you release it and step out of your comfort zone.

And remember:
There is nothing to fear.
There is no failure.  Only challenges and lessons to learn.

Fear is a word that you can dismiss from your lexicon if you’re strong enough.

Remember, fear only rears it ugly head when we look too far into the future, when we forecast, when we start to think what happens tomorrow, next week, next year.  How do we stay joyful?  By staying in the present moment.  Nothing bad can happen in the present moment.

Stop forecasting!
Stop focusing on the future!

Finding it challenging to stay in the present moment?  When I have trouble doing that I meditate.

–Meditating is an excellent way to get centered and stay centered.
–Meditating can knock the fear out of you, can knock it to kingdom come, can knock it out of the ballpark.  Fear is just a word.  You can knock that word of your lexicon.

Fear not!

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end

Our fears are mostly imagined, Chris, I agree. We should live in the present moment as much as possible and trust God is guiding us to where we need to be.
    Blessings!

Creative non-fiction writing, which I started about 14 years ago, allowed me to access, unlock and express my deepest feelings. I found I pray and meditate when I write. I was unable to do that before I started writing.

On another note, my email dicksederquist @dicksederquist.com became inaccessible for the last few months after changing my web site location to a new provider. I’m working with my web site designer to fix that issue.

I am not sure I can dismiss fear in its entirety as some fear may be necessary in self protecting. What I am learning though is to recognize and name it sooner and say ok you are here but you don’t control me nor will I let you. Settle down, dear friend fear, and ride along on this great adventure of life!

Fiction is Now My Main Squeeze
