Assignment Monday

On Saturday afternoon I gave a homework assignment to a friend of mine who is not convinced that The Law of Attraction really works. I thought I’d share it with my readers. The assignment is to find something you’d like to receive, whether it be money, a book you’ve always wanted, that new CD, if you have a computer, perhaps it’s a new program you need. Whatever it is, it should be something you don’t believe you could get on your own; so you’ll understand when it arrives there is no other way you could have received it other then through practicing The Law of Attraction. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now, you’ll recall there are three steps to this assignment:

1. Put an intention out there. Write it down. This will give it more permanence.
1a. Give yourself a time limit when this gift will arrive. For example:
Something (What you’re asking for) will arrive by the end of the month.
The first time I did this I asked for an unexpected check of $500 by the end of a month. That exact amount in a check arrived by the end of the month. It is important to be as specific as possible in your intention. If you want to receive a monetary gift, ask for a specific amount so when it arrives you’ll know beyond doubt that it was The Law of Attraction working through you.
1b. Once you put your intention out there, don’t think about it again. Simply put it out of your mind.
2. Believe it has already arrived (This is the MOST important rule!)
3. When your intention arrives, give a heartfelt thank you to the universe/God/Higher Power whatever entity you believe in.

1a and b are my own steps and they seem to work for me.

This works every time. You must follow #2.

Report back when your gift arrives.
Good Luck!
Chris
