Last Monday night March 14 I posted a question on Facebook:

If you could go back in time and change only one thing in your life, would you and what would it be? Knowing that if you changed that one thing you’re entire life would be forever altered, would you still make that change?

There were plenty of times growing up that this question surfaced in my life and many times I had an answer for what I’d change.  It wasn’t until I matured and figured out that ANY change I made to my past would have severe implications on my now and my future.  As I look back now from an older perspective I understand that all of my experiences were learning experiences and I wouldn’t want to change anything about my life.

I wouldn’t want to stop being the person I am now.  I’m a huge Star Trek Fan and in one episode of Next Generation called Tapestry, the recurring character Q shows up in Captain Picard’s afterlife when Picard has been mortally wounded.  Q gives Picard a choice to go back and change one thing in his life.  He makes the change and his life is never the same.

My question remains.  Would you change any one thing in your life knowing that even the smallest change you make would alter the fabric of your life?  A good question to ponder, I think.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Postive!
