When you possess great treasures within you, and you try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed.

I was out with a friend on Monday night and we were discussing something about The Law of Attraction. Don’t remember how we happened on the topic, but I remember saying something that reflects the quote above quite succinctly.

There are people who look at The Law and think well I can make a wish and put it out there and just sit back and wait for my wish to be fulfilled.

I’m sorry! That’s not the way The Law works. You STILL have to put forth the effort. A great many gifts have been placed at my feet and I TRULY believe EVERY ONE of those gifts have come from the divine. I won’t list them all. They are too innumerable.

If I were to tell someone uninitiated in my new worldview that I believe the gifts that have been bestowed to me were from the divine. I’m well aware that not only would I not be believed, I’d probably be laughed at too. Also as I’ve said here in the past, I no longer care whether people believe me or not. You’ll either accept me for who I am and who I’ve become or you won’t. It’s the people who accept me that I MOST care about. It’s my friends who matter the MOST to me.

Okay, I’ll let you in on one of the most important gifts I have:
My friends. I can count on one hand the friends in my life who are the most important to me, and every night before I turn off my light, I say a prayer and thank God for them.
