Tell everyone you know: “My happiness depends on me, so you’re off the hook.” And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they’re doing.  Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel—and then, you’ll love them all.  Because the only reason you don’t love them, is because you’re using them as your excuse to not feel good.

Abraham-Hicks

Abraham Hicks has been my root since discovering Law of Attraction.  It’s what keeps me grounded in this paradigm.  I receive a daily email with a quote that I center on throughout my day and ninety percent of the time I can connect with that quote as it is something I generally need to consider when it arrives.

See? I believe that everything is connected, as anyone who has been reading Wisdom and Life for any length of time should understand.  So when something appears in our line of sight it is simply because we need to hear it or see it.

The above quote is no exception.  I’m sure we have all been in the situation where someone says or does something negatively to you.

What’s your first reaction?
–Is it to lash out?
–Is it to return fire?

As I’ve said here on previous occasions, how does that make you feel?  Initially a wave of adrenaline pours into you but once it dissipates you’re most likely left feeling empty and used.  The better course of action is simply to let the aggressor have his way.
–Don’t react.
–Turn away.

As Abraham-Hicks says:
–Don’t let someone else dictate your happiness.
–Don’t let someone else drown you in their pool of negativity.

Law of Attraction has taught me many things and NOT just that it brings “THINGS” into your life.  Law of Attraction is a process.  It is a way to live your life more than the acquiring of things.

The thing about Law of Attraction that most resonates with me is what Wayne Dyer is so fond of saying:
When you change your thoughts
You change your reality.

If you can demonstrate to the world that you’re happy regardless of what other do to you, the universe will react in kind, only bringing happiness into your world.  That’s why it so important to behave in a positive manner.  Because the face you show the world is the face the world will see and react to.

Don’t let negativity be your guide.
Don’t let negativity prevent you from reaching out to someone who throws barbs.

Do you want to entirely fluster someone who is being negative to you?
Embrace them.  And watch their reaction.

It will be priceless!

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
