Another holiday falling on a Monday which means another holiday column.  Today is Labor Day, a day that celebrates the United States labor movement and has since morphed into a day that celebrates all of the United States workforce.

Unfortunately, the day has morphed once again into the unofficial end of summer, just as Memorial Day has become the unofficial start of summer.  How do you celebrate the day?

It seems like most holidays have lost their original intent.  The holy days taking on a crass commercialism.  Other holidays such as Labor Day and Memorial Day taking on its on commercial status.  Automobile ads seem to proliferate during these two days.  It’s a shame that we have lost the true meaning of these days.  I think it is too far gone now to ever get the original intent back.

Am I the only one to feel this way?

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
