Love Wins, by Rob Bell is the book where I first discovered the phrase universalist.  Love wins perfectly describes my worldview, that there is no Hell.  Mr Bell asks:
–How can a loving God forsake ANYONE?
–If God created every living thing and if God Loves us all, how could he forsake anyone?
Love Wins

It’s one of the challenges I have with organized religion and why I stayed away from the church. And it’s why I joined SUUS.

–Love Wins is Rob Bell’s call to love each other and see our similarities instead of our differences.
–Love Wins is Rob Bell’s attempt to show that God is all loving.

How can someone like Gandhi be sent to eternal damnation simply because he isn’t Christian?  That’s what some would have you believe.  Does that make sense to you?  This is the thesis of Love Wins.  How is it that the ONLY people who are saved are those who are Christian?  If that’s the case, then tell me this:
Why in EVERY case of Near Death Experiences, (NDE) EVERYWHERE around the world do those who have had an NDE, speak of seeing a tunnel and a bright, all embracing light?

If ONLY a select few were saved and ONLY Christians, wouldn’t it stand to reason that ONLY Christians would see the “light?”

This isn’t what Jesus preached.  Jesus preached all encompassing love.  Man came in and mixed with religion.  I often wonder what Jesus thinks now, when he looks down and sees how his name is being used.

–It’s not Christian to hate.
–It’s not Christian to exclude.

Rob Bell Understands this, or so it seems from reading Love Wins.  Why not pick up a copy?  Read the book; then tell me you STILL believe only a select few are saved.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
