What is my interpretation of this image?  Not sure how many of you out there are Star Trek Fans.  I’m a HUGE fan.  The Next Generation introduced a new enemy called The Borg.  The Borg were individuals who became a single entity.  Conformity and assimilation are the main purposes of this single entity.  Conform or die.  Assimilate or die.  Resistance is futile.

This image is reminiscent that.  One particular episode in The Next Generation stood out above all the others involving The Borg is called I Borg.

A Borg ship crashes on a planet and there is one survivor.  Reluctantly, Captain Picard allows the Borg to be transported aboard The Enterprise.  Separated from the collective as The Borg is known, this single being begins to exhibit signs that no one anticipated.  With help from the crew on The Enterprise, Hugh as some have named this Borg shows signs that he wants to remain on the ship.  In the end it is decided that the more prudent move is to return Hugh to the crash site.  The last scene is VERY powerful.  I won’t reveal it here except to say that it still remains just as powerful after the hundredth viewing as it does for a first time viewing. My only question is:
Do you want to conform and do what everyone thinks you should do?  Or would you rather  be like the last model here and turn back and do what you know is your calling?  Deep down you know what you want to do.  Why follow the masses?  Break away!  Do your own thing.  March to the beat of your own drummer.  You’ll be much happier in the long run.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
