I’m sure somewhere in our lives we have all met someone who has two faces:
One they present publicly.
and
One they present privately.

The face they present publicly is most likely happy, positive, upbeat.  They want to us to believe they are in fact happy people but unless you know them intimately you may never see their true nature, the face they cannot hide.

The question then becomes how do you help someone who:

A) Doesn’t want help.
B) Doesn’t know how to ask.
Or:
C) Doesn’t know they need help.

It’s not an easy solution.  In all recovery programs, the first step is acknowledging you have a problem.  That can be the biggest hurdle to clear. For some, they never reach that point.  And that’s a shame, because life truly is a gift and it shouldn’t be squandered.  Life shouldn’t be a misery.  Life should be a party and I feel bad for those who don’t see that.  One thing I have to remember however is this:

Some are content in ignorance.
Some don’t want to do the heavy lifting it takes to change.
And some don’t know where to turn.

It’s the ones who don’t know where to turn who may benefit most.  For they may be searching and those are the people we (who have so to speak “seen the light”) should be reaching out to.  They are the ones we should be focusing on.

There are people who present an outward positive energy who aren’t truly positive in their private lives and these are the people who wander in a hopeless desert, never really seeing that oasis, never really understanding that if you simply pivot one way or the other you will make your way out of that hopelessness.

I’m eternally grateful that I found my way out.  Not everyone does.  I understood that I didn’t want to live a life where everything was bleak, where everything was grey.  There was no way I could live my life that way.  I see light everywhere.  I see the Divine everywhere.  For me, everything is Divinely connected.  Everything is a blessing.

And because I see life this way, I feel an obligation to show those who want to see what life can truly be like if you remove the negative energy and re-fill that space with the positive.  It can be a HUGE blessing.  It’s not easy, but if you truly want to feel blessed, if you truly want to feel the divine, it can be done.

You just have to want to do the work.
You just have to admit you have a negativity problem.
And you have to know where to turn.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
