So the big question is, “Well, do I just dump all those unwanted things and try to start fresh?” And we say, no. You just set the Tone, where you are, by looking for things to appreciate. And by setting your Tone in a very clear deliberate way, anything that doesn’t match it gravitates out of your experience, and anything that does match it gravitates into your experience. It is so much simpler than most of you are allowing yourself to believe.

Dump all the unwanted things?
Start fresh?

That reminds me of one of my many favorite movies:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

In this movie, Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet play lovers who break up.  Kate Winslet’s character has the relationship erased from her memory.  When Carrey’s character realizes what has happened, he begins the process himself.  However, while while undergoing the process, he recognizes that he doesn’t want to lose the memories.  Carrey understands that every memory he has makes him who he is.

You can’t simply dump your unwanted things, because as Jim Carrey learned in Eternal Sunshine… while you may want to rid yourself of challenges, those same challenges made you who you are, made you stronger, those challenges may one day help you move forward.  They may even lead you to another experience that is greater than the one you left behind.  For anyone who has followed Wisdom and Life for any length of time realizes, I see connections EVERYWHERE!  That broken relationship, that failed job offer, whatever the experience, it may DIRECTLY lead to a better thing down the road.  If you choose to remove the memory, you’re also removing the possibility of the next better experience.

You can NEVER start fresh.
Nor should you want to.

Abraham-Hicks is correct.  All you have to do is set the tone.  If you’re in the middle of a storm or just emerging from one, our natural inclination is to hide, hibernate, wallow.  While we all need to do this temporarily to process our feelings, we certainly don’t want to get mired in the process. we don’t want to stay stuck.  We don’t want our the turbulence of emotions to circle around us.  That will only signal to the Divine, that we are not ready to move forward.

We want our tone to say the opposite.
We want to set our tone to a positive beat.

As Law of Attraction suggests:
Our thoughts, our feelings create our world.

If we are wallowing, if we are creating a wallowing place that’s what will continue to show up in our experience.  I don’t know about you, however I certainly don’t like the feeling of wallowing which is why when I have that experience, I typically give myself one day.  I want to move forward.  I want to set a positive tone.  I want to show the Universe, the Divine. God that I’m not one to stay in a state of dysfunction.  I want to make sure I express feelings of gratitude for ANY experience I have.  That way I will move on at a greater speed and I will be ready to see the positive in the challenge.

We should all want to move away from the negative.  Negative only weighs us down.  We need positive experiences to keep us buoyed, to keep us floating.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
