Soul Survivor:
The Reincarnation of a World War II Fighter Pilot

Bruce and Andrea Leininger

A little unusual post today. I might occasionally write a review of a recent relevant book. Being that my day job has me working in a library, I’m fortunate to come across many books. I tend to read everything, anything that catches my eye. I’m completely fascinated by past life stories and reincarnation seeing as they are deep beliefs of mine, unshakable to their foundation.

Soul Survivor tells the story of a two year old boy who wakes up almost on a nightly basis screaming, crying, and shaking in his bed. His parents are concerned. They have no idea what is causing these night terrors. As the episodes continue, Andrea, the boy’s mother comforts her son and soon hears words through his screaming:
“Plane on fire! Little man can’t get out!”

This goes on for many months, and as James, the little boy continues to grow he becomes fascinated by airplanes. As the story progresses, James parents, Bruce and Andrea become more an more concerned with their son’s emotional well being. The night terrors are getting worse.

It finally becomes clear to the family that something beyond their comprehension is at work. As more and more facts are delivered, Andrea is convinced their son, James is the reincarnated soul of a fighter pilot, James Huston who was shot down near Iwo Jima during World War II. Bruce however is unconvinced.

Read this book then come back to me and tell me that your belief system hasn’t shifted even a little bit!
