What Are You Grateful For?

Seeing as we are in November, it’s that time of year to ask what we are grateful for.  And Being Grateful is a HUGE part of Law of Attraction.  I’m sure you’ve seen the memes going around in November suggesting that the month is the Thankful Month.  As I walked home from downtown last week, I went through everything I could think of that I’m grateful for and the funny thing is that everything I thought of initially began as a challenge.  That in itself is something that I’m grateful for.

I can generally see that what are initially obstacles, that what at first blush seem like a negative event usually turns golden if we wait long enough.  You only have to read my column Phone Call to the Future to see how that example turned out.  Look at where I live:

I’m a five minute walk from work.  I’m a five minute walk to get downtown.

Seeing as I can’t drive on the highway, it’s yet another example of The Divine looking out for me.  I’m beyond grateful to my Aunt Bet who became my Fairy Godmother.

I’m grateful that I now understand that our emotional storms happen when they happen to clear away the debris that we no longer need.  EVERY time I THINK something negative has occurred in my life, be it a break up, be it financial, be it something more long term I ALWAYS see something positive come out of the negative experience.  Living through the turmoil of the early 1970s put me on the path to owning my condo in Madison.

But, you say.  Look at how long you had to wait.  I understand.  I only lived through three years of turmoil to get a lifetime reward, though.  36 months is nothing when you compare it to your entire lifetime.

The two things I’m MOST thankful for then our:
First, my Aunt Bet because as I said in Fairy Godmother, she provided me the security of a home in Madison.

Second, the fact that I live within five minutes of downtown.

What are you grateful for?

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
