I found a quote on Jigar Vyas G+ Profile last month that I felt compelled to write about:
When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.

Funny, how a few weeks ago while I encountered a storm I built a wall.  I wrote about it in Trust the Universe.  I MUST learn to build windmills, as the Chinese suggest.  I’m typically so good at feeling the wind at my back, NOT resisting, using that imaginary windmill to my benefit.  In every other aspect of my life I use the wind to move me forward.  Challenges don’t get the best of me.  I’m stay positive.  If there is one positive that I can take away from the experience, it is as I said in Trust the Universe, because I’m in this paradigm now, I’m able to clear the debris, I’m able to use the wind to my benefit, I’m able to move beyond that challenge that arises in a quicker time period than before I had these tools.  So to some respect I DO build a windmill, but I just don’t build it soon enough.  And because I wait too long to construct it, the windmill has to perform twice as much work, blowing down that half built wall as well as remove the emotional debris.  While I understand these things after the fact and I ALWAYS promise myself that I’ll NEVER do that again, invariably that challenge will arise again and I will find myself building that wall again.

That’s the lesson I need to learn in this my most recent incarnation.  Remember one of my philosophies for reincarnation:
That we return over and over to learn from past experiences
That we need to learn our lessons and move beyond

That not only do we need to learn our lessons but we also need to implement those learned lessons in our next incarnation, otherwise we will continue seeing that same challenge every time we incarnate.

I need to stop building walls.  Not only does building walls keep the negative trapped inside, those same walls keep the positive out.  Those walls keep people from reaching in to help.  The Chinese have it right.:
When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.

I just need to implement the to tools I have at my disposal sooner rather than later.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
