You can change any relationship right now by looking for the things you love, appreciate and are grateful for in that person.

The Power
Rhonda Byrne
p. 173

Is there a relationship you have that is causing you distress? Is this relationship one that you can’t walk away from? The real question before we go any further is:
Do you WANT to feel differently? Do you WANT the relationship to return to the loving caring model it once was? This will ONLY work if you WANT the relationship to change. If you do there is a way to get what you want.

Do you feel anxious, annoyance, frustration when you’re with this person?
Did they cause you emotional distress? Did they lie to you, did they cheat on you? Are you still carrying THEIR wounds around? How does that make YOU feel? Distressing, I bet. A pit in your stomach, I bet. Do you WANT to feel that way? Don’t just answer on the surface of the question, because on the surface without thinking about your real answer, you’re most likely thinking yeah.

Think about it for a moment. Close your eyes and consider your deepest inclinations. How do you REALLY feel? Do you want to continue feeling that distress?

You can change that very easily. There must have been something at one time that drew you to that person. Something good must be lying dormant somewhere. Focus on that. If the relationship is a marriage that has devolved into anger, shouting and one upmanship, and you WANT to return to a more caring marriage, the important thing here is that you MUST WANT the relationship to succeed, then you can make it happen.

If your thoughts create your reality which is what I’ve been professing here all along, then what you must do to create the relationship you want is think about the good things that originally drew you to that person. Not that simple, you say? Maybe not, but there MUST have been something that attracted you. Think about that. Carry that around with you and when you feel the anger, the distress, the hurt coming on, return to the good feeling. Positive reinforcement.

You’ve heard of that, haven’t you? What is that if not The Law of Attraction? Chew on that for awhile.

Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
