If you remember to laugh, play and dance each day,
youth will always be yours.

We are always the same age inside.

Thoughts to Make You Smile
Age is simply a number.
I know people who are over 45 and they are living life like they are 25. In the same respect, I know people who are under 30 and they have almost given up.
Age is simply a number.
You know that saying:
Act your age.
I CERTAINLY don’t act my age and I don’t want to act my age. I don’t feel my age either. I friends who are half my age and younger. I think it’s important to keep company with all generations but I find it very satisfying to have friends who are younger then me. Having younger friends can stimulate play, thus keeping you young at heart.
I NEVER want to act my age! And I hope I NEVER do. Ms Stein is right. We ARE always the same age inside. If you THINK you’re 45 when you’re 25 then it will become a self fulfilling prophecy. Your thoughts will create your reality. You WILL feel 45. There’s that pesky Law of Attraction raising its head again. See? it’s like I always maintain, The Law is ALWAYS working whether we recognize it or not. Could it be that a self fulfilling prophecy is just another way of saying Law of Attraction? I think so.
How about the saying:
Youth is wasted on the young.
One of the definitions I found online for the saying is:
It means that young people have everything going for them physically; they’re in the best health they will ever be in; their minds are sharp and clear BUT they lack patience, understanding and wisdom which results in so much wasted effort. Whereas someone who’s lived and learn now knows what to do with all that ability of the body but now doesn’t have the body to do it with! Another way of putting that saying is; “If I could go back to (whatever age you like) and if I knew then what I know now, life would be wonderful.” THAT meaning came from:
Do you believe youth is wasted on the young? I THINK it depends on the individual. As I said at the beginning above, I know people who are over forty and do things that some twenty year olds wouldn’t dream of.
What does it mean to you? Youth was NEVER wasted on me. I’m still doing the things I did when I was younger. I’m still writing. I’m still lugging my camera. I’m still hiking. I don’t feel any different now then I did twenty years ago.
If you can remember that age is simply a number and don’t let it interfere with your goals, you’ll live a successful and healthy life.
The next time someone tells you to act your age, say NEVER!
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
