Do You Have The Right Friends?
”It’s hard, but sometimes it is better to have no friends for a time than to have the wrong friends. The wrong group can lead you down all kinds of paths you really don’t want to be on. And retracing your steps can be a long and hard journey.”
This message, posted on my friend, Ingrid’s Facebook wall on Tuesday, April 5, is so clear and it resonated so deeply with me that I asked Ingrid if I could use it in today’s blog. It is so important to surround yourself with people who are going to lift you up; see the blessings in your challenges, but also to continually push you to step out of your comfort zone. You don’t want someone who is going to be your “yes” friend, someone who will ignore the elephant in the room; someone who will agree with all of your notions. A true friend will tell it like it is, but will also leave feeling positive.
It may appear to be a fine line and there are so few people who can walk that line. If you’re fortunate enough to have someone like this in your life, hold onto them and NEVER let go. If you’re that type of person, show it in all of your actions and statements and soon you’ll find the right people gravitating into your sphere. Remember The Law of Attraction’s tenet:
Like Attracts Like.
If you bring forth positivity the universe can ONLY reciprocate.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you all!
