Amatullah at Stop0Think recently wrote a column called Do You Say “No God? Amatullah poses the question:
“Is God something mankind has created to suit his personal desires.”
My answer as well as Amatullah’s from what I can gather from his column is No. I don’t believe God was created by mankind. I’ve seen too much, been involved in too many events to deny the existence of God. I know many people who are atheists and that’s a concept I simply cannot get my hands around
Okay. So what have I seen and what events have I been involved with that leads me to the conclusion that God does exist? What I’m going to discuss here is my personal experience and I’m sure some of you may shake your heads thinking:
“Oh that doesn’t prove anything. And that’s fine, because faith IS a deeply personal thing.
I’m reminded of a scene in Rhonda Byrne’s Movie The Secret where one of the speakers comments on God and relates it to science. I’m paraphrasing because I don’t recall the exact comments but it’s something like this:
What is matter? Something that is always there, was always there, will always be there.
What is God? Something that is always there, was always there, will always be there.
So, see? One in the same. God and Science CAN co-exist.
Okay. So what are some of the events in my life that have created this strong faith I have? For those of you who are first time visitors or haven’t been here frequently, let me give you a few quick examples of why my faith is so strong.
I sincerely believe that coincidences are one of the ways God communicates with us.
There are no coincidences. There is only God. God speaks to us every day. We just have to be attuned to listen. Okay. So how does he speak to us? One way is through the use of coincidence in our lives. That link I just provided is to my blog where the word coincidence is searched. Every column where I discuss coincidence will appear. Feel free to take your time going through those columns and let me know what you think after you’ve read some of them.
When I incarnated during this lifetime, I struggled as an infant; and I truly believe that one of the gifts that was bestowed on me was my strong faith. God knew I would need more then I could use so he gave me his strength, his faith. Another link to a column that describes why I have such a strong faith and always will. God is with me everywhere.
Do you believe?
Do you have faith?
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
