As often happens, I forget what I’ve written for an upcoming blog, because I write these so far in advance.  I did not recall that I wrote something political today and I’m sure this wasn’t what my friend had in mind when I was given this quote. Something else to realize and something I SINCERELY believe is that I’m directed what to write.  My blogs filter through the Divine.

Oh, now, C’MOOOON! I bet you’re saying.  That’s alright because as I’ve said at my blog many times over:
I certainly don’t expect everyone to believe everything I write about.  It’s what I believe.)

A friend of mine found this quote somewhere and knowing that I’m constantly mining resources for quotes to use as launch pads on my blog I was given permission to use it.  So thank you to my friend.

Which do you base YOUR beliefs on?

While both can revealing, I agree that as the quote goes:
Actions speak louder than words.

How many times have I gone political on this blog?  Never, correct?  I won’t get into my political affiliation here.  However the recent hubris over Former Governor Mitt Romney’s hidden camera talk about the 47% are words I’m sure he’d love to have back.  His actions as Governor of Massachusetts, shows another side of his words however.

While he is obliged to keep this out of the public realm, Governor Romney did INDEED find a way to insure MOST of his state’s residents.

Action.

If you listen to him today, he SAYS he wants to repeal the health care reform that was recently passed.

Words.

Which do you believe?  If it is true that actions speak louder than words than you’d have to believe his actions, wouldn’t you?  I COMPLETELY understand why he is saying what he is as he wants to appeal to his political party.  However, he can NOT escape the action of what he did.  With words, you can claim you were misquoted, that your words were taken out of context.  It is that much harder to claim a misquote or an out of context moment when you perform an action.

I don’t think that was the point my friend thought I was going to make with this post today, but with the U.S. Presidential Campaign in full swing at the moment, that’s what I was directed to write.
