Because others cannot vibrate in your experience, they cannot affect the outcome of your experience. They can hold their opinions, but unless their opinion affects your opinion, their opinion matters not at all. A million people could be pushing against you, and it would not negatively affect you unless you push back. They are affecting what happens in their experience. They are affecting their point of attraction—but it does not affect you unless you push against them.

Vibrate.
Vibration.
What do these words mean in Law of Attraction?
Let’s look at them in every other connotation and see if we can circle back to Law of Attraction. Merriam-Webster defines vibrate as:
: to respond sympathetically : thrill <vibrate to the opportunity>
: to emit with or as if with a vibratory motion
When you vibrate you are moving in harmony with another sense, another being. If we look back at the connotation that Law of Attraction uses and refer THAT usage to the definition that Merriam-Webster provides, can you now see the reference?
Let’s look at the first sentence of Abraham Hicks above and break it down:
Because others cannot vibrate in your experience, they cannot affect the outcome of your experience.
Okay, what do you think the sentence means? Well look back at the meaning of vibrate:
: to respond sympathetically : thrill <vibrate to the opportunity>
: to emit with or as if with a vibratory motion
If someone can’t move in harmony with you then according to Abraham-Hicks and Law of Attraction, those who aren’t in harmony can’t affect how you feel. You’ve heard me say before that when someone is at a lower frequency, a lower level of understanding the only way to reach them is to climb down to their level, right?
Well in the simplest form, that’s what this passage is saying. If someone is vibrating, moving in a different cycle than you are, what they are doing or saying won’t relate to where you are. It won’t compute. I’ve been a witness to this myself many times over, but probably not in the way you’re thinking. Here’s an example:
Growing up my best friend lived around the corner from my maternal grandparents. Joe and I were inseparable, much like my best friend today. Joe and I could spend all day together then get on the phone and talk all night. A few years ago, we did our best to re-connect on several occasions. We wanted to be friends again as we were when we grew up.
I was in a COMPLETELY different place than Joe was. I vibrated on a higher plane. This WAS after my deepening spiritual connection; and when I told Joe a bit about what I’d experienced I watched him tune out. It was then that we realized our childhood connection was gone. We weren’t vibrating on the same plane anymore. That’s far from a bad thing. Joe was there when I needed him. We were friends for a specific time and for a specific reason.
Once we taught each other what we needed to know from each other, we moved on. Sometimes re-capturing a feeling from the past works. This time it didn’t. Joe and I are on different planes of existence now. We don’t vibrate in harmony anymore. And I don’t think it has anything to do with being apart for so long. The fact that I grew in spirit and discovered Law of Attraction helped me move up that so called spiritual ladder.
Do you have an example of moving beyond someone where both of you have mutually understood, where one of you vibrated at a higher resonance? Would love to hear from you.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
