When my column falls on a holiday, I typically take the day to remember that particular holiday.

Memorial Day is a day in The United States where we remember those in the US Armed Services who have transitioned.

And seeing as many of my columns do indeed fall on holidays I generally make the exception to honor that day.  Look for the usual column to return on Friday.

Meanwhile, remember:
Memorial Day isn’t simply a day off.
Memorial Day isn’t simply the unofficial start to Summer.
Memorial Day isn’t simply picnics and barbecues.

Memorial Day is a solemn day to remember our fallen heros from wars past.
