I must thank my friend, George Egan for the above quote.  He emailed it to me a few days ago.  We seem to be simpatico recently.  We have the same belief system.  I find it interesting since I joined Facebook again for the second time how many of my friends, friends I’ve known for years are on the same page with me.  I’ve known George before my second iteration on Facebook and I knew he was of the spiritual ilk; so it didn’t surprise me when I received this quote.  However many other friends, several from high school are those who surprised me.  I discovered these traits when I opened my blog page:
CJP Enterprises on Facebook and watched it gather likes/followers.  To see many of my high school friends profiles after they began following my blog completely took me by surprise.  George Egan doesn’t surprise me because I know his history so receiving his email was simply pleasant because he knows my worldview.  Receiving a Saint Francis quote was simply a happy accident as I now I have something to write about.  God gives us what we need when we need it.  Proven correct again.

I’ve written about Saint Francis previously at Wisdom and Life.  I’ve also written about putting your faith in yourself and doing something you otherwise didn’t think you could.  Being positive and being full of faith in yourself is the first important step in undertaking any task.  As Saint Francis intimates here:
Nothing, I mean NOTHING is impossible if you believe it, if you have faith.  What is faith after all?  But knowledge in the unknown?

Faith doesn’t have to be spiritual.
Faith doesn’t have to be religious.

It can be knowledge in yourself.  It can be showing someone you can do something regardless of the doubt and the doubters.  Being the person I am and having seen the things I’ve seen, having experienced something greater than myself over twenty years ago while walking in the woods, I choose to see faith as spiritual.  And that’s what it REALLY comes down to.  We get to choose how we see life.  I choose to see EVERYTHING through the lens of faith, as though EVERYTHING is a miracle.  By choosing this life I get to do the impossible every day.  Faith?  God?  The Divine?  Miracles?  They are all one in the same for me?
