As a follow up to Centering Prayer Group, I think it is important to surround yourself with as many like minded people as possible. Almost ten years ago now (Wow! Hard to believe after writing that, that it has been that long.) three of my friends and I started meeting weekly to discuss all the positive that was happening in our lives. The group sort of ran out of gas about two years later. We all still stayed in touch, just not in a formal meeting.

In January, the same people reconstituted and we are once again meeting. Like nothing has changed we fell back into our comfort zone and it’s been amazing. The original concept behind developing our group was to support our positive movements and by discussing them, help more positivity bloom.
As it says in one of the Law of Attraction tenets:
Surround yourself with the positive and think positive and more of that will come to you.
That’s how our group works even now. We look for positive things that our happening in our lives and we discuss them. In the week between our meetings we carry on a daily email where we list three positive things that have happened or are happening in our lives that day. It may sound silly. However, as I said earlier, the more positive we find to be grateful for the more that will arrive.
It’s important to develop this routine if you want to live a grateful life:
–Surround yourself with as many like minded people as possible. (Find groups that practice your belief system.)
–Find the positive in any challenges you encounter. (In other words turn the negative into a positive. You can ALWAYS find some small gift in a challenge. It just takes practice.)
–When something positive happens be grateful.
One of the things I’ve started to do when I wake in the morning, before my feet even touch the floor is say out loud:
Something amazing will happen today.
This is a result of our group.
Find like minded people and you’ll find your outlook changing for the better.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;
We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying. For there truly is no end.

What a fantastic, positive group, Chris! Yes, like you, I’m a firm believer in looking for the positive in any given situation and be thankful. It really is the only way to live fully.
Blessings!
