We encourage you to make peace with everyone who opposes you and with everyone whom you oppose, not only because you cannot insist on their yielding to your perspective but because their opposing perspective is of tremendous benefit to you.

You see, because of your exposure to what you perceive as their wrong or bad or unwanted behavior or perspective—you have given birth to an improved situation. And just as they helped the problem side of the equation to come into focus, they helped the solution side of the equation to come into focus, also; and that solution waits for you in your Vortex of Creation.

Through our daily meditation process, you will come into alignment with those solutions and creations that are in your Vortex, and from inside your Vortex, you will feel appreciation for everyone who contributed to its becoming.

When you make peace with those who differ in desire and belief and behavior from your ideas of what is appropriate, you do not perpetuate what you consider to be wrong. Instead, you align with the solution side of the equation that has been waiting for you in your Vortex of Creation.

Abraham Hicks

Make amends with those who oppose you?
Seriously?

Abraham-Hicks isn’t the only one who believes this.  It’s a practice of every world religion:
Forgive your enemy.  The Christian Bible has much to say on forgiveness.

Matthew 5:44 says:
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

Ephesians 4:31 – 4:32 says:
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Luke 6:27 says:
But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.

In Buddhism:

I’ve written at Wisdom and Life about how holding onto anger is grasping a hot piece of coal.

Every major religion discusses forgiveness and making peace with those in opposition to you.  Unfortunately not every person practices.

I’m sure you’ve heard it said that there is nothing new under the sun.  That everything old will be new again.  This is why as I’ve said at Wisdom and Life:
that Law of Attraction is simply another gateway to Spirituality and Faith.

If you look back at the basic tenets of Law of Attraction, you’ll find many traits it shares with Faith and religion.  Another reason I’ve maintained that discovering Law of Attraction has only served to deepen my faith.

The only way I can survive,
The only way my happiness is ensured,

I no longer hold grudges.  I do my best to, as Abraham-Hicks says:
make peace with everyone who opposes me and with everyone I oppose.

I don’t need stress in my life and carrying anger and grudges and not letting go, hurts us just as much as a physical wound does.  By focusing on someone’s anger toward you or by continuing to hold onto your own anger against someone else it not only brings more of that to you, it also creates a place where it won’t dissipate.

I imagine if you’re here at Wisdom and Life reading these columns, you are someone who wants to find peace, who wants joy.  One way to find that peace within yourself is to let go of anger, let go of grudges.  Because who is it REALLY hurting?  Is it hurting the person you’re angry at or is it hurting you?  Let go of that hot piece of coal.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
