Keep looking to God. Keep trusting him. Know that he is leading you to a higher place —Let him. The road may look strange to you. You may even feel lost, or far behind, or confused. But if you follow him, it will be the right road and in the end you will find peace.

When you feel as if your life is out of control and you feel as if there is no solution to what life is throwing at you, recite the above quote. Remember you’re on the right path. Your life is being guided by a benevolent hand. When you feel at wits end and you don’t think things can get ANY worse, look to your higher power for help. He is ALWAYS there. Trust that he is guiding you to the right destination.

At my lowest point in the late 1980s when I was still living at home and between jobs, there was a short period of time when I was asking for help EVERY minute, EVERY hour of EVERY day. I DID feel lost, far behind and confused. I trusted in my faith, however. My faith NEVER wavered, NEVER let me down. I KNEW I would crash through through the wall and I would come out the other side stronger for going through it.

I wouldn’t be the person I am today had I not gone through that time. One of the things that helped me more than anything else was remembering and reciting the poem:
Footprints.

I VIVIDLY recall reciting it each night and each morning. I ALWAYS trusted I would find my way, though I had my naysayers. It just takes some of us longer than others. Everyone will find their way. I didn’t believe it at the time but someone told me multiple times that it’s the adversity we go through that makes us stronger. Remember though, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remember, you are watched over. You are protected. Your life is a road that has been thoroughly mapped out. You can divert and detour but you’ll always return to the predestined path. I believe that, because of the little coincidences that have popped up throughout my life. There are no coincidences. There is only God! If you want a refresher on SOME of the coincidences I’m referring to, you can look at one of my early Wisdom and Life entries here:
Being Spiritual

I understand that Spirit is all around us. I’ve always understood it. I wish more people understood. Imagine the world we could live in if everyone knew. I’m doing my part by writing this blog. What can you do?

Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
