Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.

LOVE these daily emails I get.  Some hit the exact mark I’m looking for at the moment.  Some are a near miss but I can always find something to take away from each on I get.

Here’s what I think the above quote is trying to say:
Are you in a situation where you’re attempting to do the same thing you’ve always done?  What if you made a COMPLETE shift and did something else entirely?  Changing course or in the above case changing vessels might just change your whole outlook.  It might be better to jump into a new vessel instead of continually patching up the old one.  It’s not a failure if you bail.  It’s ONLY a failure if you do nothing, all the while knowing that IF you changed course everything else would shift for the better.

Do what needs to be done in order to survive.  If surviving means bailing on a damaged vessel whatever that vessel may be, then it is your responsibility to yourself to do whatever you need to do in order to get through your storm.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
