There is a sparkly center of happiness in all of us;
find it, treasure it, and let it shine.

A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances,
but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

Thoughts to Make You Smile

What brings you joy?  What brings uncontrollable laughter, a smile that just won’t quit, a contentment, peace to your soul?  Whether it’s spending time with your best friend, (that’s what does it for me.) going for a walk in the woods, sitting home on a quiet night and reading, whatever brings that feeling of joy to you is what you should spend more time doing.
The more joy you feel, the better you’ll feel.  As I’ve said here many times, your emotional health has a direct correlation to your physical health.  Those people who are filled with joy more often, are sick less often.  Joy and Happiness speed endorphins throughout your body.  When I end my blog entries with the mantra:
Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
I’m sending out the message to everyone that by being happy, you will be well.  I like the last line in the quote above:
…and let it shine.
What does that mean?
What does something do when it shines?  It radiates, right?  This reminds me of one of the last lines in one of my favorite movies:
What do stars do?  They shine!
I’ll leave it up to you to figure out what movie the line is from.  Anyway, to me let it shine means sharing your joy.  By sharing what you have you can destroy all the challenging issues in yoiur life.  If you share your joy, it will return to you exponentially.  Your task today is to:
Find what brings you joy.
Treasure it.
And let it shine.
Share your joy with everyone you meet.  You may just find your day becoming lighter, happier, more joyful.
Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
