New Monday Theme:
Prayer Monday

I’ve often written here about prayer.  And after my last Theme Monday ended, I looked for a new theme to start.  I decided on a prayer theme.  Starting next week I will be discussing prayers that have impacted my own life and giving examples of the influence they have made on my life.

Before I go on, I just want to reiterate what I’ve sais before and continue to maintain:
That when I speak of God, I’m writing about the UNIVERSAL God, God as I understand him to be.   Anyone reading who is NOT comfortable with the word can replace it with something they feel more at ease with:
Universe
Higher Power
Source

I believe there is divinity looking out for us, someone or something guiding our lives.  That’s what I mean when I use the word “God,” a loving all knowing source

of power enriching our lives.

I don’t consider my communication with God prayer, because in my opinion, prayer is a one way communication.  Prayer is asking for something.

I learned long ago, that God responds to all of our prayers and sometimes the answer is no.  When the answer is no, it only means that we are not ready for yes, yet.  God has to make room for the yes.

Until Prayer Monday begins next Monday with my first prayer:

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!

Blessings to you.

Chris
