The days are long, but the years are short.

Gretchen Rubin

Time:
On a superficial level, everyone THINKS they have an unlimited supply of the commodity; especially when we are young.

It’s not true!
Time continues to move forward.  There is no stopping it.  The above quote by Gretchen Rubin is apropos for today as we are rapidly approaching the end of another year.  When you’re young time seems to go on forever.  It’s only as we grow that time appears to speed up.  Do you ever consider why that is?  I do.  Time marches on and we can’t ignore the fact that we have a limited amount of the commodity with each life we lead.  Is there something you need to do?  Something you need to say?

My advice is don’t wait.  Physical time can stop at any point for the person you need to talk to.  Time, just like faith is an odd thing.  You can’t see it physically.  You can’t hold it.  That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.  I’m reminded of the story of the classroom teacher who asked if a student saw the tree that stood outside.

Just because something isn’t visible, just because something isn’t tangible, doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

Remember.  Time is short whether you’re young or old.  You only have so much of it.  Use it wisely.  Spend it wisely.  Do NOT chase it!

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
