Life is not about power, but about strength. End the illusion of separation, and you shall be delivered back to the source of your inner strength. Stop thinking of yourself as separate, and all the true power that comes from the inner strength of unity is yours.
Neale Donald Walsch
Power.
This word has many connotations What message do you receive when you hear that word? How about the word Strength? Both words can mean the same thing, one sometimes has a negative feel to it and one is more enlightening. Do you want you have power? Or is strength something you’d rather have.
This is a decision you have to make. As Neale Donald Walsch says quite plainly in the first line above:
Life is not about power.
I want to have the grace of strength, knowing I used my strength to to carry me through my day. Anyone can power their way through, running roughshod over people who are in their path. That’s not grace. That’s not strength. And that’s not who I am. Is that who you are?
If you’re here reading this blog then I don’t think you’re that person. Have the grace to understand the difference between Power and Strength. Everyone has slips. We wouldn’t be human otherwise. The trick is recognizing when you’re using power and to pivot. If you can realize when power comes into the equation and quickly move back to using your strength, you’ll find your day will improve.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
