Doctors and scientists said that breaking the four minute mile was impossible, that one would die in the attempt.  Thus, when I got up from the track after collapsing at the finish line, I figured I was dead.

Change Your Life
A Little Book Of Big Ideas

When I read this the first time in the book I laughed out loud.  Mr. Bannister has a sharp sense of humor  Like the last line:
Thus, when I got up from the track after collapsing at the finish line, I figured I was dead.

Bannister’s accomplishment just proves again that if you have a goal you want to complete and someone tells you it can’t be done, someone out there will prove everyone wrong.  Why can’t you be that someone?

You can!

All it takes is will, desire and perseverance.  The world is filled with people beating back impossible odds to produce miracles when everyone counted them out.  I recently watched a movie called:
The Way of the Peaceful Warrior
is the story of Dan Millman, a gymnast in pursuit of Olympic Gold.  Something happens to him (Don’t want to say what) and it jeopardizes his dream.  This is a MUST SEE movie!

Seabiscuit
is another come from behind true story.

If someone tells you:
Are you crazy?  That can’t be done!  It’s impossible.
Remember all the stories of others saying the same thing, smile and say watch me.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to everyone.
