When I looked at things for what they are
I was fool enough to persist in my folly
and found that each photograph was a mirror of myself

Welcome to yet another Photography Monday post. Hope everyone is enjoying this little excursion. I’m keeping my photography entries relevant to the spiritual positive nature of my blog.
Whether we know it or not, we all seek what we are most like, whether it be photography, our friends, what we read, whatever. I know this more now then I EVER did before. Reading the above quote has spurred me to go back and look at my photography archive and even though I DO understand this, it was still surprising to find that many of my images so relate to me. One thing I’ve noticed after looking through my archives is I seem to particularly enjoy photographing flowers:
Bridge of Flowers
Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts
Madison, Connecticut
Spring 2010
Buttonwood Sunflower Farm
Griswold, Connecticut
I have more floral photography on my site. But I don’t want to inundate you. You can look here:
Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival
NY Botanical Garden
Have any of my photographer readers realized after the fact that they have a favorite subject? I found it weird that it took me writing this entry to understand that my favorite subject to photograph is flowers.
How about you?
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
