God dwells in the depth of your being
I know! I know! You’re thinking ANOTHER Living Luminaries post. Almost like the line in:
Hunt for Red October
You’ve lost ANOTHER submarine?
A little aside before I get into this topic today:
For those of you new to my blog and for those of you who may feel slightly uncomfortable when I write about the divine using the word “GOD,” let me just say I’m NOT writing about God in the religious form. I’m writing about God in the spiritual non denominational form.
I THINK MOST of my readers now understand that I have to write what flows out of me, whether it is Positivity, Faith, Law of Attraction, or God. I can’t censor myself for one or a hundred people, nor will I. I write this blog first for me and if what I write helps someone else then all the better. I LOVE writing this blog and in order to keep my enthusiasm for writing it I can’t NOT write what moves me.
God DOES dwell in the depth of your being. That’s why so many of us find it so liberating to meditate. Meditation is yet another way to reach out to the Divine. Everyone looking to find their own peace, their own God, should take time each day to meditate.
Prayer can be a form of reaching out to your own God.
Do you pray?
Prayer isn’t simply about ASKING for THINGS!
Prayer can be communicating with God/Divinity/Source.
For those of you who haven’t spent time with God, you may feel silly, uncomfortable, odd, talking to someone who you THINK doesn’t hear you;
Trust me! God hears you.
God wants to hear from you.
If you want to reach God, look within.
Spend time in solitude.
Spend time in silence.
Spend time in contemplation.
I think spending time in silence is one of the BEST ways to reach out to God. It’s one of the reasons organized religion doesn’t appeal to me. If we want to seek God, we should be silent and listen for HIS response. How can we be in silence if we only hear others speaking?
God dwells in silence.
God dwells in peace.
God dwells in solitude.
God dwells within.
Whichever way you choose to communicate, whether it be through silent meditation, prayer, or carrying on a conversation, remember God is waiting. Are you willing?
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
