The thought that you think, you think, which attracts to it; so you think it some more, which attracts to it; so you think it some more. In other words, when you have an expectation, you’ve got a dominant thought going on, and Law of Attraction is going to deliver that to you again, and again and again. And you say “The reason that I believe this, is because it is true.” And we say, the reason that you believe it, is because you’ve practiced the thought. All that a belief is, is a thought that you keep practicing.

If you’re thinking is negative and you wonder why challenging events continue to appear in your life, then maybe it’s time to reconsider your thought process. That’s the concept behind Law of Attraction:
Stop thinking negativity and refocus on the positive of your life and you’ll see things start to turn in your favor.

I certainly understand that some of you may see LoA as esoteric, as new age. However I ask those of you who feel that way to spend a month or so exploring the concept and comparing LoA to religious beliefs and I believe you will find compatible issues with both.

It’s important that you stop focusing on WHAT MAY happen and draw your attention to WHAT IS happening. Staying in the present moment is another key in LoA. Nothing bad can happen in the present moment.

Abraham-Hicks is correct:
By focusing on the positive in your life, the challenges will move away.

As I’m fond of saying here. I understand this is easier said than done. Some see this as a platitude. And unless we are in the person’s shoes we shouldn’t be offering this up as something to consider.  The events in our individual lives can be causing stress beyond all comprehension and hearing someone offer up a new way of processing that stress can often be counter productive.

My response to that is
What have you got to lose?

If you’ve exhausted all other factors and you want to feel better emotionally, see if this will help you. One of the things I’ve discussed here earlier about discovering if Law of Attraction will work for you is to:
Start Small

Stop focusing on the negative.
Start focusing on everything good in your life. And remember:
The thought you have is the reality you are creating!

Be Happy!  Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;
We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.

Thanks Chris for the reminder! It’s helpful to be reminded everyday because our old habits have a way of popping up especially in stressful situations.

Yes, Chris, I agree – choosing positive thoughts over the negative is a win-win every time. Goodness knows, I have a lot on my plate right now that could make me fall into negativity, but I refuse to allow that to happen.
    Blessings, my friend!

I won’t go into the Law of Attraction (even though it is at best an unproven theorem), but it’s gobbledygook like the first paragraph you included attributed to Abraham Hicks that defies comprehension. (It fails all tests of logic, grammar, and composition.)
A positive attitude helps us in our tasks- but it doesn’t mean that the positive attitude can overwhelm significant issues without adjusting one’s approach.
