My Worldview
Okay. I’m sure many of you who read my blog on a regular basis have been wanting to ask many times over:
Do you REALLY believe everything you write about here? What with Monday’s column about energy fields, and everything you’ve written in regards to the book:
Journey of Souls.
You don’t REALLY believe there are energy fields that our souls recognize, do you?
How about past lives and reincarnation?
Soul Groups?
Let me tell you all in as succinct an answer as possible:
Yes! I’ve seen too much. Whether you believe this or not I actually heard this conversation at Hammonasset Beach State Park. This was a first hand experience that rattled me and I understand that children sense things that we as adults do not.
Journey of Souls helped me understand what happens to us when we transition. Even though I believe everything in that book, actually seeing it written gave me a new perspective. I’ve recommended the book to many people after first coming across it and everyone who has read it has said the same thing, that it changed the course of their lives. They no longer fear transition. In fact many have taken that word and now use it themselves. Transition, that is.
My worldview is constantly in a state of flux as should everyone’s be. I wouldn’t and I don’t write anything at Wisdom and Life that I don’t believe. I certainly understand some of what I have to say can sometimes be a bit esoteric but I can’t censor myself for fear of embarrassment. There is no reason to feel embarrassed. I have nothing to hide. It’s why I write this blog. I want to reach as wide an audience as possible and if some of you may cringe at what I have to say, all the better. Sometimes it is good to step outside our comfort zones.
And it’s as I say here:
Take me or leave me. I no longer worry what others think.
I’m certainly not saying that to be combative, just saying that unless we sometimes get uncomfortable we will never grow. For it’s when we reach beyond what we think that the real growth happens.
It’s time to remove our spiritual blinders.
It’s time to take that leap of faith.
It’s time to listen to another perspective.
It’s time to shift our worldview.
That’s the entire reason this blog exists:
To ruffle a few feathers.
To create some challenging discussion.
So to respond to all those who ask:
Do you REALLY believe what you write?
I’ll say it again:
A resounding yes.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Journey of Souls – C. Jennings Penders
[…] Journey of Souls is ostensibly a book of records that Newton took from hypnosis patients who under deep hypnosis revealed where they were between lives. This is where the controversy lies. Apparently from what I’ve been able to discover, none of the recordings from his sessions can’t be located in the public record and it has been said that Newton hasn’t made them available for peer inspection. Regardless, there are concepts such as Soul Groups that I was introduced to in this book. I also wrote about the concept of Soul Groups at Wisdom and Life. Despite the shortcomings of this book, the fact that it has some controversy attached, I still found the book comforting and I fit it naturally into my worldview. […]
